The Hythe Imperial has stood at the heart of the beautiful seaside town for hundreds of years.
The name of the pretty seaside town stems from the Old English for Haven, and that’s exactly what you’ll find here.
Our hotel has undergone constant development and improvement over the years and the experience today is like nothing else in Kent.
The facilities are bound to delight, and our staff pride themselves on making all guests feel completely at home. What’s more, the hotel is right in the town, with all the sights in easy walking distance and the beach a stone’s throw away.
We would like to inform guests that we are currently experiencing some temporary issues affecting the air conditioning on the 3rd floor of the hotel. This is being fully investigated during the week commencing 1st June 2026.
During this period, air conditioning will unfortunately not be available on the 3rd floor. To help ensure guest comfort, complimentary fans are available for all bedrooms upon request.
